Mike Moore’s practice consists of intellectual property, technology transfer and entertainment law. Specifically, Mike’s practice focuses on patent prosecution, and he has counseled clients in computer software, mechanical engineering, sustainable industries, carbon sequestration and electrical engineering technologies before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Mike has counseled clients on various transactions in the software and information, sustainability, energy, gaming, music, environmental remediation, and consumer products industries. Since joining Swider Medeiros Haver, Mike’s practice has expanded to include trademark and copyright registration matters, trademark and trade dress infringement matters, and licensing agreements related to patent and trademark properties. He has developed strategies for clients in complex intellectual property contract matters between research institutions, and the private sector involving the Bayh-Dole Act, the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARs) and the Federal Acquisition Regulations(FARs).
Mike is also part of the Swider Medeiros Haver litigation support in state and federal court for matters involving electronic commerce, unfair trade practices and intellectual property infringement. Mike is currently licensed to practice in Oregon and before the USPTO.
