Steve Leasia

Steve has provided business counsel and legal representation to both private and public companies for over 20 years.  He has broad experience in several industry segments, including high tech, manufacturing, finance, consumer products and professional services.  For the last 10 years Steve has worked within executive management teams on the formation, development and growth of several venture-backed Northwest technology companies. As both strategic advisor and legal counsel, Steve has formulated capital development strategies and managed successive rounds of private equity financing totaling over $50 million dollars.

Steve’s expertise lies in negotiating and structuring business relationships and commercial transactions including financing, co-development, compensation and licensing and intellectual property transfer.  He also has extensive experience in managing corporate governance, employment relations and company mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations.

He currently serves as corporate counsel and secretary to ShiftWise and provides management and legal counsel to several other high tech and development companies including Compli, Concrete CMS, Cascade Custom Software, Inspiration Software, NeuroSpectrum, Parametric Marketing, TVT Video Technologies, Tilley Jane and WeClik.

Steve served on the Editorial Board of the Oregon Business Lawyer and is a past Chair of the Executive Committee of the Computer and Internet Law Section of the Oregon State Bar.  He has been a frequent CLE program planner and presenter for the Section.

Steve is actively involved in education and is the past President of the Riverdale School District Foundation.
